Is prior experience needed to rent a paddleboard?
No prior experience is necessary for basic paddleboard rentals. Our equipment is stable and suitable for beginners. For guided tours or lessons, we'll provide instruction and ensure you're comfortable.
Are life vests (PFDs) provided with rentals?
Yes, a Coast Guard-approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) is included with every paddleboard rental. Your safety is our priority, and wearing a PFD is mandatory.
Are paddles included with paddleboard rentals?
Yes, paddles are provided with all paddleboard rentals. We offer different paddle sizes to ensure a comfortable experience.
Where can I use the paddleboards?
We recommend exploring the Newport Harbor and designated coastal areas. Our staff can provide suggestions for safe and scenic routes. Please inquire about any restricted areas.
How long do rentals last?
We offer flexible rental options including half-day, full-day, and multi-day rentals.
Are there any age restrictions for rentals?
Generally, renters should be capable of safely operating the equipment. Children may be able to ride with an adult on a paddleboard at the discretion of our staff and with appropriate safety gear. Please call us for specific inquiries.
Is there a secure place to leave my belongings?
We have limited storage space at our rental location. We recommend bringing only essential items or using a waterproof bag that can go with you on the water.
What if the weather changes during my rental?
We monitor weather conditions closely. In the event of unsafe weather, we may need to suspend or cancel rentals. We will discuss our weather policy with you at the time of rental.
What should I bring for my paddleboard rental?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that can get wet, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and bringing water. You may also want to bring a waterproof bag for your phone or camera.
